7 Major Classification of Amusement Equipment

There are more and more playground and amusement/theme park now, and as well as the modeling and classification of amusement equipment. All the park rides can be different types according to the equipment's structure, movement and design, not according to park rides' names. Each kind of Amusement equipment named by the most popular amusement facilities in the classification.

According to the current children's amusement facilities and children's amusement equipment variety can be divided into 15 categories,  they are Carousel, roller coasters, top class, flight tower, racing, controlled aircraft, cable cars, mini train, aerial tour cars, water rides, bumper cars, battery cars, bungee jumping class slide, and slide.

I. Carousel: Children's rides and children's play equipment

Structure characteristics: cockpit is installed on the rotating disk or the supporting arm, around a vertical shaft or tilt axis, and rotation around a vertical axis with small swing.Cockpit around a vertical shaft or inclined shaft rotary recreational facilities: Carousel, Coffee Cup,  Rolling Pendulum Cabin, small aircraft (cockpit not lifting), Dumbo (cockpit not lifting), and some other children's rotary game machine.

Ⅱ.Roller Coasters Amusement Equipment

Structure characteristics: the vehicle itself has no power, when they lift to a certain height by  lifting device, and then running along the track by inertia; Or the vehicle has itself power running in the undulating track.

Such as: Roller Coaster, Lane Slides, etc.

Ⅲ. Top class children's play facilities and children's play equipment

Structure characteristics: cockpit around the variable angle of axis rotation, shaft are mounted on the arm lifting.

Such as: gyro, double flying, brave turntable, flying on the arm, football etc.

Ⅳ. Flight Tower Entertainment Facilities

Structure characteristics: hanging pods, and  at the same time it is doing rotary motion when it lifting, flexible piece hanging pod.

Such as: Flying Tower, Fling Chair, Jumping Frog, etc.

Ⅴ.Racing Car Amusement/Theme Park Rides

Structure characteristics: It running along specified line on the ground.

Such as: Racing car, Small Car, and speed racer, etc.

Ⅵ. Automatic Airplane children's Amusement Park Rides and children's play equipment

Structure characteristics: the seat part is rotated around the central shaft do the lifting movement, and this part always be mounted on the rotary arm.

Such as: Automatic Airplane, Self-Control Bowl, Octopus, Jellyfish, etc.

Ⅶ. Ferris Children's Rides and Children's Equipment

Structure features：The seating part around the horizontal shaft to rotate or swing.

Such as: Ferriswheel, space ships, pirate ships, carpets, meteor hammer, etc.
